Seamless.ai’s mission is to empower the world to connect. Central to this mission is our commitment to be transparent with you about the data we collect and how it is used and shared. By using our Services, you consent to our use of your data under this Terms of Service.
We are a professional search engine and online social network for professionals. People use our services to find and be found for business opportunities and to connect with others and information. Our Terms of Service applies to any User or Visitor to the covered Services.
Our registered users (“Users”) share their professional identities, find new business contacts, find new companies, build a new network, engage with their network, exchange knowledge and professional insights, learn and find business opportunities, learn and find career opportunities. Content on some of our services is available to non-users(“Visitors”).
This Terms of Service applies to Seamless.ai, Seamless.ai branded apps, Seamless.ai plugins and other Seamless.ai related sites, apps, communications and services (“Services”).If you use our Services, you consent to this Terms of Servicey, including our Cookies Policy.
This Terms of Service governs the manner in which Seamless Contacts, LLC DBA Seamless.ai, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the https://www.seamless.ai website (“Site”) and browser extension (“Browser Extension”). This Terms of Service applies to the Site and all products and services offered by Seamless Contacts, LLC (collectively, the “Site”). It also describes your choices regarding use, access and correction of your personal information.
Personal identification information
We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our website, register on the website, place an order, subscribe to a newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, however that may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.
As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically. This information may include Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, the files viewed on our site (e.g., HTML pages, graphics, etc.), operating system, date/time stamp, and/or clickstream data to analyze trends in the aggregate and administer the site.
User Data Supplementation
We may receive information about you from other sources, including publicly available information, publicly available databases, third parties from whom we have purchased data, Seamless Business Contact Database, or through the Browser Extension, and combine this data with information we already have about you. This helps us to update, expand and analyze our records, identify new customers, and provide products and services that may be of interest to you. If you provide us personal information about others, or if others give us your information, we will only use that information for the specific reason for which it was provided to us.
Examples of the types of personal information that may be obtained from public sources or purchased from third parties and combined with information we already have about you, may include:

Contact information such as your name, title, company, email addresses, phone numbers.
Purchased marketing data about our customers from third parties that is combined with information we already have about you, to create more tailored advertising and products.

Collection of Data for Business Contact Database
We collect and organize data about contacts from publicly available sources, 3rd party sources, purchased sources and from users to make this data available for end users’ internal business purposes (the “Business Contacts Database”). We gather such data through a number of sources, including through web crawling, the Browser Extension, the Seamless Business Contact Database Service (as described below), and from third parties.
One method by which Seamless users may obtain access to the Business Contact Database is by participating in the Seamless Business Contact Database Exchange Service. The Seamless Business Contact Database Exchange Service is a service provided by Seamless that provides users access to the Business Contact Database in exchange for the user providing Seamless access to certain user contact information, as described below. To begin using the Business Contact Database, you must first install our proprietary software application (the “Software”) or otherwise provide us with access to your email account. Doing so provides us with access to certain contact information (“Contact Information”) stored by your email accounts (gmail, outlook). The Contact Information may be included in or combined with information included in the Business Contact Database. In order to access the Business Contact Database, you may be required to provide us OAuth access to your business email accounts. We collect the following Contact Information from your contacts and email headers and “signatures” within email messages (including your own signature within email messages), if available:

We take the following steps to ensure the integrity of the Contact Information and Services:
Contact Information Only – Seamless only collects contact information-related information.
Anonymity – We do not publicly disclose who contributed particular Contact Information using the Services.
Opt Out – Anyone added to our databases may request to be removed at any time, via the contact information provided below. We promptly honor such requests.
Seamless does not “read” the content of your email messages; our technology automatically extracts from the messages only the data we describe in this Terms of Service.
Contact Information from your email client will continue to be shared as described above as long as the Software remains installed. If you choose to stop sharing Contact Information from your email client with Seamless, you can uninstall the Software at any time. You may not, however, retroactively “unshare” the Contact Information you have already shared with Seamless. Only the individual contacts themselves can request to have their information removed.

How we use collected information
Seamless Contacts, LLC may collect and use Users personal information for the following purposes:
To improve customer service, Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.
To personalize user experience, We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Users as a group use the services and resources provided on our Site.
To improve our Site, We may use feedback you provide to improve our products and services. Information collected from usage of the Browser Extension may be used to provide more accurate data and complete coverage to benefit all of our Users.
To process payments, We may use the information Users provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.
To send periodic emails, We may use the email address to send User information and updates pertaining to their order. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, questions, and/or other requests. If User decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email or User may contact us via our Site.
To offer the Business Contact Database and Exchange Service
If you are a user of the Exchange Service, we may use Contact Information to supplement the Business Contact Database. Users are not permitted to sell or disclose this information to third parties in any way.. Anyone added to our Database may request to be removed at any time by contacting privacy@Seamless Contacts, LLC.
How we protect your information
We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site.

Sharing your personal information
Except as part of the Business Contact Database, we do not sell, trade, disclose, share or otherwise transfer Users personal information to outside parties. We may use third party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site, or administer activities on our behalf such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes provided that you have given us your permission.
We reserve the right to release personal information (i) when we are under legal compulsion to do so (e.g. we have received a subpoena) or we otherwise believe that the law requires us to do so, (ii) when we believe it is necessary to protect and/or enforce the rights, property interests, or safety of Seamless Contacts, LLC, our customers or others, or (iii) as we deem necessary to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, prevent fraud and/or enforce the Privacy Shield Framework.
If Seamless intends to (i) disclose Personal Data to a Third Party other than a service provider, or (ii) use Personal Data for a purpose other than the purpose for which it was originally collected, Seamless will offer you the opportunity to opt-out of that disclosure or usage.
Links to Third Party Websites
Our website includes links to other websites whose privacy practices may differ from those of Seamless. If you submit personal information to any of those websites, your information is governed by their privacy policies. We encourage you to carefully read the Terms of Service of any website you visit.
Upon request, Seamless will provide you with information about whether we hold any of your personal information. You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information by contacting us at email@example.com. We will respond to your request within a reasonable time frame.
Seamless.ai provides accounts and licenses for single use. Multiple users on a single account or license will be subject to lock out within the platform.
Access to data on the platform for unlimited users is based on a standard rate of usage of up to 3,000 contacts/day as well as up to 500 contact searches/day, at which point data may be subject to throttling. We monitor usage to ensure that users are not using bots or tools to scrape the valuable data from our system. We reserve the right to throttle users due to excessive usage that compromises the integrity of our platform and data.
We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Annual Contract Purchase, Monthly or Annual Billing
All purchases are annual contracts with monthly or annual billing sales payments. All sales are final once the purchase is completed.
Annual Contract Renewal Cancellation: Annual Contract Renewal Cancellation requests must be made given 60 days written notice in advance of the next annual contract renewal date. If an annual contract renewal cancellation request is given less than giving 60 days written notice the annual contract will auto-renew.
Changes to this Terms of Service
We may update this Terms of Service to reflect changes to our information practices. If we make any changes we will notify you by notice on the main page of our Site, and will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this Terms of Service periodically and become aware of modifications.
Your acceptance of these terms
By using this Site, you signify your acceptance of this policy and terms of service. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
Invitations to Join Seamless / Invite Your Network
If you invite other users to join Seamless or if you invite persons not yet members of the Seamless community to join Seamless, Seamless will automatically send an invite to your network and up to two reminder emails to recipients who haven’t yet responded to your invitation, unless you advise Seamless otherwise.
An original email and up to 2 additional reminder invite emails to join Seamless.AI are sent on your behalf. Invitations are only sent three days after requested in case a user would like to cancel sending invites. All invites include clear opt-out messaging if the receiver wishes to stop these messages. We remind you that it is solely your responsibility to determine whether Seamless’s invitation process is in compliance with applicable laws that affect your intended recipients and accordingly, you may prevent Seamless from sending invitation emails on your behalf by canceling the invitation request at any time prior to the transmittal of the original invite or reminder email. You can do this by emailing at firstname.lastname@example.org and requesting these invites to be canceled.
Growing your network often begins with inviting your existing contacts to join you on a new network like Seamless. Seamless simplifies the invitation process by providing an automated way to invite your email address book or existing networks. Note: Seamless is not liable for any communication made between our users and contacts of other email address books, networks or the networks themselves. Invitations originating from Seamless to people outside of existing users of the platform at the request of users are done entirely independent of Seamless on behalf of the user. Users assume sole responsibility and liability of sending invitations to their networks and therefore absolve Seamless from any damages or complaints that may be brought by a recipient or third-party platform.
